Duck, Duck, Goose

This morning as i came out to the arena to let the geese out, this is what I saw.  Goose shadows.  I ran back into the house and got my camera, of course.

This is their enclosure.  A bit small, I think, but the best i can do at the moment.

Good morning pretty geese.

Once out of their pen, they run the length of the agility arena stretching and flapping their wings.

Next, they have me trained to fill their bath tub.

The gander has a bit of a splash party.

They really are quite pretty, I think :0)  Wayne says they are messy, but he says that about everything.

CHAMP....no one asked you to put the geese away.  Not yet, anyways......

Is the gander the same breed of goose? I know nothing about geese, but his head and bill are certainly different from the female's heads.
Great shadow photo:)

LOL Karen, I really don't know. Maybe the odd big one is a girl? I just assumed it was the gander. They say they are difficult to tell which sex unless you watch their mannerisms very closely. He looks like a he and I'm going to call him Henri. :0)
