Journal four at the beach

Welcome to paradise.....where it's always 5 o'clock!

My life is fast paced. I sometimes wish I could be in 10 places at once. Boredom is not in my vocabulary. Never has and never will be.  So, it's always nice to come to the beach. I can hike at home while meditating, but it's different when I'm at the beach. After walking and meditating. I come back to my camp sight without anything that I really have to do.  My favorite thing to do is READ. I am now reading. Miles Go By.  It's not a fast read, but it makes you ponder life's journey. I especially like the quotes in front of each chapter heading. I love to ponder, think, and rethink quotes. I always wonder....how do people think these things up...they are so insanely accurate. Anyway, at home I sometimes read at night. But not often enough. When you are working dogs, caring for property and livestock, and working 12 hour shifts there just isn't enough hours in the day. I come to the beach to slooooow things down. I sometimes go to bed early and might get up from midnight to 2 am to read. I get up early for long morning walks on the beach with the dogs. I usually come back and take another hour nap and so forth. I think my resting heart rate must be 50 at the beach. Good for the soul. :0)

A cloudy sunset

And, then another evening, I witnessed this

Sitting with my glass of wine watching the colors change

Just a glimmer of the sun on the waves

I felt like I died and had gone to heaven :0)

The grand finale of that particular evening

Lovely sunset shots!
Sounds like a lovely time there at the beach. I've got back into reading books again (compared to reading 'stuff' on the computer).
I like to have a good book to read while stirring that jam pot:)
