Gearge Washington

See George in the lower right hand corner?

Yep, this is George. Well, we still have George in the family.  Now we know he's not George Washinton, the President....LOL  I'm thinking he was named George Washington after George Washington Carver.  That would have been the right time period, plus, George Washington Carver was a black man.  He was a noted scientist/educator/inventor in his time.

I"ll have to check when I get home as to how I am related to Grandpa Hockley.  But, the one thing I do know is that George Washington is safe and sound in Sewall's Point, Florida....George, whomever you are!  :0)
