Today we slow our horses and remove our hats,
We bow our heads and give thanks to those who have our backs.
For on this day, 12 years ago, we were blindsided by a terror, that only the evil know.
Friends became family and America became one, we rallied together, we fought, we won.
We shall never forget the lives that were taken,
And those who sacrificed all, to preserve and protect, our freedom
Today we are thankful to be able to sit atop our horse,
Seeing the world for what it is, and accepting our course.
We are reminded that this is a Nation of Liberty, United in Glory
And that evil attack is just but a part of our story.
The fight against good will always have hell,
Cause good is in our blood, and we defend our brothers well.
We are Free, and we have each other
We have God, and we need nothing other.

We dedicate our words today to all those who are currently serving, have served, have sacrificed, and every American who will Never Forget.
We are thankful for every person who loves this country.
Ride forward with love, pursue your dream, and hold those close to you tight.
