Here's a great DEAL. We all like a good deal, right?
Less than $70 for two automatic trashcans. My first introduction was at Jeanne's when I was up in Washington. I LOVED it. It is made by Nine Stars. It takes D batteries, but you get about 10,000 open and closes with the wave of a hand for your batteries.
HAHA KILT...we are going to FOOL you...you sneaky TRASH HOUND, you. I'm tired of putting the kitchen trash can on the counter top to keep it away from Kilt.
Two for one combo unit 13.2 gallon and 2.1 gallon motion sensor trashcans.
Ideal for the kitchen and bathroom. Lid automatically opens when in range and automatically closes seconds later. No need to touch the trashcan while throwing your trash away.
Ring liner (13.2 gallon model only) holds trash bags up and conceals them within the trashcan. Bucket liner (2.1 gallon model only) so there is no need for a trash bag.
Capacity: 13.2 and 2.1 gallons
Material: Stainless steel
Finish: Brushed silver
Fingerprint resistant
Hands free operation
Takes 4 D cell batteries each
Lasts up to 10,000 open and closes before needing new batteries
Dimensions:13.2 gallon: 28.4" H x 16.2" W x 11.4"
2.1 gallon: 13.7" H x 11.3" W x 7.2" D
P.S. I ordered them on line and there was NO shipping charge. With tax, it came to $71.33. Just google COSTCO Nine Stars automatic trash can combo.

Your dogs are so smart I bet they figure out the motion sensor in no time at all! LOL :) We have to stack the cans in the kitchen and keep the bathroom cans on the counter. I will be very interested to see if your new cans are the answer! We can always hope :)
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, won't Kilt end up triggering the motion sensor when she checks it out? Be sure to let us know how they work for you:)
Thankfully here, most of the stinky garbage is under the sink, and no dog has even tried to get at that. Another can in the kitchen has a foot pedal and a lid, and one in the bathroom that Calli has access to has a lid also.
When I was at Jeanne's house, sometimes their very TALL lab would accidentally set off the sensor with his tail. Thankfully, the lid automatically closes, too.
We'll see :0)
