No matter if your dog found you or you found your dog, many say it's choice that determines your destiny. So, I guess if you believe that, make good choices. :0) I think chance comes into play when I think of destiny, too. Sometimes, just by chance, good fortune comes to someone. You happen to be in the right place at the right time. Attitude probably also play a big role in determining your destiny.
I didn't choose Jet. I did my homework and chose whom I thought to be a knowledgeable person to buy from....I didn't too bad with my first choice, Patrick Shannahan. I had never even been to a USBCHA trial to watch. He chose Jet. I didn't. I didn't even see Jet until he popped out of the crate. It was destiny. He was the perfect dog for me.
I think my girlfriend, Jeanne met destiny when she met Rocky at Soldier Hollow. She just didn't know it at the time. But, she would get another chance to meet destiny again. I do believe that certain events happen for a reason. Probably the same with Monique and Lucy and Erin with Z. And, to those of my friends who have rescued.
Many times we don't play on our hunches and we should. Remember, "It is in the moment of decision that your destiny is shaped." I think that's almost too much responsibility for me to think about this morning....off to work my dogs. Have a great day.

It is amazing how some things work out.
I knew before I even drove to ID that I had to have Z. I saw a picture of him working sheep and knew. Then I found out how he was bred and I really knew.
Finally when I did meet him a stream of hearts came out of my eyes, just like the cartoons.
We make our own destiny by the choices we make right now. There isn't much to chance, we are were we are in that moment because we made all the choices that lead up to that moment. Sometimes we are not very aware of what we choose so the universe has to give us a push :)
If you listen to your heart you always choose what will serve you best.
