"I don't need no stinkin' handler"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O19ILRY7cNE

Kilt loves an audience. My grandson came over and asked if the dogs could do their rings. The more my grandson laughed, the goofier she became. You'll see what I have to contend with......

Kilt
Kilt likes to make me feel palpitations. She is the most independent bitch I will ever own. This makes her a phenomenal ranch dog. When I want to work the 8 rams at the ranch where I work my dogs, I have to separate the 8 rams from the jenny and the goat. They hang in a pretty tight group. I have tried to film Kilt sorting the 8 rams from the jenny and the goat. Unfortunately, I had the camera on still pics instead of the movie mode the other day.
That's probably a good thing, because you would have heard me yell...."K-I-L-T" I always almost have heart failure. But, trust me, Kilt knows what she is doing. She doesn't need my interference and she's not about to let me interfere (so I guess it doesn't matter). She can separate those 8 rams from the jenny and the goat in a few nano seconds. It's what happens in those nano seconds that I can't bare to watch!
This morning Terry was outside the pasture with his feed cart. Kilt loves an audience. She ramps up because others are watching. This is when she says, "I don't need no stinkin' handler." Quite like she does at the sheep trials. She entered the pasture slinky and going wide. Like a rattlesnake, quick and deadly, she hit the donkey on the nose waiting a nano second for the goat to follow, completed her shed of the 8 rams in a heartbeat and was grinning ear to ear bringing the 8 rams out of the pasture.
She did all of this in a few seconds while I was still trying to get my heart to start up again. She's such a damn show-off. If you couldn't tell, I LOVE this bitch. And, hopefully, I will have a chance to breed her again someday. :0)

A wise sheep once said to the lambs "Kilt is one letter change from Kill in the dictionary. It would be a foolish lamb to disobey Kilt"

I love Kilt.
