I spent another glorious afternoon at Pismo beach on my second to last day on vacation. I wish you could see the kelp beds and the color of the water. Honest, it is blues, violets, greens.....beautiful.
The fog held out to sea for quite awhile. Once the fog came inland I started my trek towards Jalama Beach for the night.
Today there was an ALBINO seal on the rock.
Looking north...pretty spectacular.
Margo Dodd Park
"This ocean-bluff park includes a breathtaking ocean view, covered gazebo (ideal for weddings), a grassy recreation area, bicycle parking and on-street parking. This park offers excellent photo opportunities of marine and bird life and a rugged coastal terrain. There is beach access to a large tide pool area at the end of Pier Street, where snorkeling and tide pools invite exploration. Bring your binoculars for use at the park and move south of the gazebo area to view the adjacent Dinosaur Caves Park."
Fog starting to roll in....
Pelicans flying in among the large rocks. Sea gulls nesting.
Jet and Yoko taking in the view from a park bench
Cormorants sunning
Yoko looking cute sitting in the one of the park's gazebos
A pretty photo of a sea gull
And, my favorite photo...Pelicans flying into the fog bank.
Oregon Coast photos coming soon....
