On our hike through Joseph
Whidbey Park, a bunny zipped right in front of Yoko. She didn't chase after it. She quietly and slowly walked towards it as it froze in place. Then she used "avoidance behavior" that I have talked about before. She didn't look directly at the rabbit. She pretended she was sniffing some grass and she moved closely towards it. She got about 6 feet from the rabbit before it finally bolted into the high grass. She didn't give chase....just continued on her hike.
